Who We Are

The AI Singularity is a free, open-source LLM engineering education platform. Our website address is: https://theaisingularity.org. We do not sell products or services, and we do not sell your personal data.

Information We Collect

We collect information in the following ways:

Contact Form Submissions

When you use the contact form on our site, we collect the information you provide (such as your name, email address, and message). This information is used solely to respond to your inquiry and is not shared with third parties for marketing purposes.

Comments

When visitors leave comments on the site we collect the data shown in the comments form, and also the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to help spam detection. An anonymized string created from your email address (also called a hash) may be provided to the Gravatar service to see if you are using it. After approval, your profile picture is visible to the public in the context of your comment.

Cookies

Our site uses cookies in limited circumstances. If you leave a comment you may opt in to saving your name and email in cookies for convenience. We also use cookies for basic analytics to understand how our content is being used, which helps us improve the curriculum. You can control cookie preferences through your browser settings or our cookie consent banner.

Analytics

We use Google Site Kit to collect anonymized analytics data about site traffic and page views. This helps us understand which content is most useful to our audience. This data is processed in accordance with Google’s privacy policy.

Embedded Content from Other Websites

Articles on this site may include embedded content (e.g. code snippets, GitHub links). Embedded content from other websites behaves in the same way as if the visitor has visited those other websites directly, and those websites may collect data about you, use cookies, or embed additional tracking.

How Long We Retain Your Data

If you leave a comment, the comment and its metadata are retained indefinitely. Contact form submissions are retained for as long as necessary to respond to your inquiry, and are then deleted. We do not retain contact form data beyond what is operationally necessary.

Your Rights

You have the right to request access to, correction of, or deletion of any personal data we hold about you. To exercise these rights, please contact us using the form on our Contact page. We will respond to requests within 30 days.

Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services that may process your data: Google Analytics (via Site Kit), Akismet (spam filtering for comments), and WPForms (contact form processing). Each of these services has their own privacy policies that govern their data handling.

GitHub

Our curriculum content is hosted on GitHub at github.com/TheAiSingularity. When you interact with GitHub (starring, forking, opening issues), GitHub’s own privacy policy applies. We encourage you to review GitHub’s privacy policy at github.com/privacy.

Contact

If you have any questions about this Privacy Policy or our data practices, please contact us. We take privacy seriously and will do our best to address your concerns promptly.
